Hundreds of floating lanterns are a main attraction during Loy Krathong, the “Festival of Lights." This trip, a 14-day journey with Black Tomato travel, combines the iconic sights of Bangkok with the lesser-known (and rarely visited region) of Isaan in eastern Thailand, and it cumulates at Loy Krathong, where participants "cast little Krathong boats onto the river and wish for a good year ahead."
